Cowardice and sloth are incompatible with liberty and self-government.

Our futures
Consent of the governed is the key. Self-government means assuming responsibility for the Republic - including its government. This is a heavy burden. If the natives of the US and UK will not bear it, then others will rule them. The people of the UK and US have changed their government before, and can do so again.
Sloth and cowardice, even defeat, are all ills of the mind. The West has overcome greater challenges in the past, and can again. It is all about choice.
Our future depends on our ability to clearly see, then rationally act together. Remember, Mother Nature only wants the stronger to win. She does not care who that is.
